
Former Director of the National Center for Malaria research in Burkina Faso (CNRFP) and currently Senior scientist at National Public Health Institute in Burkina Faso, Dr GANSANE Adama contributed to the generation of knowledge in health science encompass a range of innovative ideas, tools, and techniques, focusing on addressing critical public health challenges. He conducted many research studies on infectious diseases (Malaria Dengue) in Burkina Faso since more than 20 years as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator in clinical trials/epidemiology studies (drugs, vaccines, bednets) fulfilling international standards and regulatory requirements. His research results contributed in new recommendations in malaria policies and advocacies locally and internationally. Since 2020, as the National IVM platform Coordinator in Burkina Faso, he is contributing to strengthening the capacity for the regulation of innovative health technologies. Dr GANSANE is engaging in collaborative projects with other multistakeholders, research institutions, and public health agencies for preparedness and readiness of the regulatory framework that govern the development of new innovative technologies against vector borne diseases.
