
Dr. Alex Riolexus Ario is a Medical Doctor and Public Health Specialist who holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and a Master of Public Health from Makerere University. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Health Services Management from Makerere University School of Public Health. He is a PhD candidate, Makerere University. He has extensive knowledge in epidemiology, health policy, health systems and quality improvement models. He has worked in various capacities in Uganda government and agencies including as Hospital Superintendent and District Health Officer as well as Health Advisor, Health Sector Support Program, Ministry of Health. He also worked as Care and Treatment Manager in the Uganda Ministry of Health, STD/AIDS Control Programme. A reviewer and editor in numerous peer reviewed journals. Editor
