Anna B Ninsiima is a Lecturer of Gender Studies at Makerere University and a Gender expert on the Learning together to advance Evidence and Equity in Policymaking (LEEPS) projects. She’s an experienced and self-motivated gender and policy analyst with extensive knowledge of academic work, development, and research. She has taught Gender Studies and Development Studies at Makerere University since 2008. Anna is part of the Makerere committee (with Gender mainstreaming Directorate) implementing the gender policy and sexual harassment policy at Makerere University. Anna has done extensive research; consultancies and capacity building in Gender, policy analysis, Governance, sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, among others. Anna is also a UNDP qualified trainer and advisor for Gender Equality Seal for Public Institutions.
